Modular Classrooms - Scholar Services Centre des Patriotes
Located in Saint-Bruno-de-Montarville, a suburb of Montreal, the overall project consists of 30 modules providing 26 new modular classrooms, as well as washrooms, staff rooms, and multipurpose spaces for four schools within the school service centre’s territory. The project addressed an urgent need for additional classroom space to alleviate overcrowding in existing facilities. Modular classrooms proved to be the ideal solution: quick to install, entirely factory-built under controlled conditions, and constructed from mass timber with large openings that maximize natural daylight.
Both teachers and students benefit from these high-quality learning environments. An additional advantage of the modular classrooms is their relocatability, allowing them to be moved should the schools’ needs evolve over time.
