Mistissini Bridge

Mistissini, Québec

This 160 m long bridge at Uupaachikus Pass features four sections of straight beams supported by semi-continuous arches. 24 m beams are married to the 15 m arches which attach to concrete pilings with structural trunnions (pinned connections). The waterproof road deck protects the wood structure from extreme weather exposure. Design by Stantec – Ponts et ouvrages d'art.
