Platte 15

Denver, Colorado

Located in downtown Denver, Platte 15 is Colorado’s first cross-laminated timber (CLT) building. The elegance of the 5-storey retail and office building’s structural assemblies demonstrate a meticulousness and an attention to detail philosophy that guided the team throughout the project’s development. Vertical concrete cores provide lateral stability to the structure, while a glulam post and beam system supports the CLT slabs. The arrangement of secondary beams resting on top of primary beams creates ample free space for the layout of the mechanical system. The office spaces offer a sober, yet contemporary look.
