Located in the Village heart in Newtown Square, PA, Ellis Preserve is a five-story mass timber office building part of a large development. Sitting on a two-story underground parking, the building uses CLT for lateral resistance in shaft walls and a mass timber structure made of glulam posts and double beams supporting CLT floor slabs ensures the gravity load-bearing. The exposed structure brings warmth and character to leased office spaces for this 105,000 square-foot building.
